The Nature of Spatial
Marcus is a middle aged man whose interest in purchasing a home has grown exponentially over the past 4 years. He’s put the time in, scouring listings on the internet, local ads, and his own “personalized” feed from his realtors who are working in his best interest of course. Despite his tenacity, Marcus has yet to find the one and as prices rise and the market becomes more competitive his options are actually dwindling. Further exacerbating his situation is the fact that his wife, who is expecting, is eager to find a home before their first born child comes into the world. After all, having to deal with neighbors who blare their speakers until 11pm at night, or who fight endlessly every evening, or who time their toilet flushes at an exact moment of blissful silence is not tenable for a newborn. As the pressure rises, Marcus notices a blip from his realtor — it’s not an automated message. A nice 3 bedroom house in an up and coming area close to his place of employment and a short commute away from his wife’s. Even better, the house comes with about two acres of land — just enough to plant a little garden and maybe a stone fruit or apple tree. Excited, Marcus immediately books an appointment to view the house and on the same day places an offer.
