Building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is a key component for getting your startup off the ground. No matter what market you are trying to work in, to acquire sales requires an MVP that attracts customer’s attention and sucks people into wanting to know more about your product and business. An MVP should comprise equal parts magic, practicality, usability, and awe. With these elements in place you can begin generating revenue long before your final product is made. 1. What does your MVP need to look like?
Let’s say you are trying to sell a stress relief tool. You envision a product that is both fun, repetitive, and allows users to dispense energy into it. As an entrepreneur you need to be able to visualize your product. After all, if you can’t see it, who else can? Once you have that visualization firmly embedded in your mind you need to make a rough sketch onto a piece of paper. Try to write out the individual components of the product. If it’s an app or software then you will want to do a wireframe (best software for a wireframe: SmartDraw, Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma).
