Introduction

Fertilizers are a necessary part of agriculture, and their rising prices in recent years have caused concern among farmers and consumers alike. Fertilizers are essential for plants as they provide the essential nutrients that the plants need to grow. Fertilizers help improve plant growth, yield, and resistance to pests and diseases.

While the use of fertilizers is essential to increasing crop yields and ensuring food security, the high cost of these products in recent years has made them less accessible to many farmers. This has led to a decline in fertilizer use in some areas, which could have negative consequences for agricultural production down the road. In addition, the increased cost of fertilizers has also caused food prices to rise, putting a strain on the budgets of consumers around the world.

Algae Fertilizers

Micro-algae, such as Chlorella Vulgaris, Spirulina, and Scenedesmus, are an increasingly popular alternative to traditional fertilizers. Micro-algae have been found to contain high amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, and urea — all essential components of a healthy crop.
